I don’t know that I’ve seen a lead guard with a higher basketball IQ. He just feels the game so naturally. Taylor can score and create looks at any time. That being said, he’s at his best when his teammates are flowing with him and he can attack with the pass as well as his scoring. If you’re a talented wing, there’s not a better point guard to play with.

Let’s be real, Taylor is one of the truest, and best, coaches on the floor in the midwest. The young man is a fountain of knowledge and understanding when it comes to the game of basketball. He flows so well with his teammates, no matter their physical traits or skill level. A coaches job is to make the team as good and as successful as possible, and Talor does just that while on the floor.

Taylor was just doing Taylor things. He was grooving his game with his wings and making sure that open teammates got theirs. He had 20 points in the contest, but that seems like the most meaningless number. It’s the way that Taylor runs a team and understands the feel of the game that ultimately brings wins like this one.

This one should come as no surprise. Honestly, he looked like a player that should be sitting at the Mr. Basketball announcements at the end of the season. Taylor has magnificent body control. This allows him to shot fake, go under the defender, and draw contact. Taylor is comfortable attacking or shooting from anywhere on the floor. Any time a defender stepped off him on Thursday, Taylor made them pay with his jumper. He does a great job utilizing the glass from mid range and he has eyes all over the floor.
