About me
My name is Brady Westphal. I am a student athlete at West Fargo Horace HS (ND) and I have an absolute passion for basketball. I am currently on ECI’s top 17U Prospects AAU Team, coached by Program Director Lucas Moorman. During my junior year of high school, I averaged 14.6ppg, 3.8rpg, and 2.4apg. I shot 81.6% from the line while shooting 45% from the field. I made 56 threes averaging 2.33pg.
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I am a 6’2 175lb lefty guard. I’ve been raised in a household where my dad and brother are in law enforcement and my mom is a teacher. I know the meaning of accountability, consequences, loyalty, dedication, and hard work. My brother played basketball in the NSIC, so I’ve seen firsthand the grind, work, and dedication it takes to play at the next level.
What type of school are you looking for?
In addition to my skills on the court, I am also committed to excelling academically, as I have a 3.6gpa. I am fully prepared to meet the challenges of collegiate-level coursework while continuing to develop as a basketball player. I understand the competition to get to the next level. I am looking for an opportunity to show that in fact, I am built different than your average player.
What are your interests outside of Basketball?
I am not going to lie. I absolutely love the game of basketball and am infatuated with it. Which is why I don't play another sport. Any extra time I have, is spent in the gym. I am by definition a gym rat. Outside of basketball, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, and occasionally fishing.
Closing Statement
Basketball has been an integral part of my life since a young age, and I have dedicated countless hours to honing my skills on the court. I believe that my combination of athleticism, work ethic, and passion for the game make me a strong candidate to play at the next level. I am just looking for someone to believe in me. Please reach out to me so we can discuss why I am different than most.
