Morehead State Head Coach Sean Woods made a nice first impression.
“I get along with him pretty good,” said Bradshaw. “He is a real good dude. He was telling me about their tradition, how they played, and where he came from, and what type of system they run. How I would fit. Everybody is pretty team-oriented and family-oriented.”
Bradshaw picked up an SIUE offer first, but quickly followed that up with Tennessee Tech, SeMo, EKU, and then Belmont.
Belmont is a favorite for the senior-to-be from Kentucky. His most respected adviser, his grandfather, loves Belmont. They treasure the wide open style implemented by Head Coach Rick Byrd. Though the Belmont Bruins would like Bradshaw to verbally commit before July they will have to wait.
“They want me to commit before July starts,” said Bradshaw. “You know, that is when everything gets crazy. So they are trying to force my hand to commit and everything, but I am going to take my time. If that last spot gets taken, that will be fine. I will just weigh my other options.”
Do not misconstrue his delay though. Bradshaw labels Belmont his favorite “along with Long Beach State.”
He just wants to see how far this recruitment can go. Will he add more offers during July?
Almost certainly. Is Belmont a very real possibility. Absolutely.
Like Pedro said July gets crazy. After visiting two OVC schools this week and adding that Morehead State offer look for his stock to keep soaring.
