Scott is a graduate from the School of Kinesiology, with a major in Sport Management and Communications from the University of Michigan. He is a proud father of two sons and one daughter. He enjoys attending their sporting events and spending time them. He is lucky to have a supportive girlfriend Kaylee, who always inspires and motivates him. Scott is a former college athlete, who has experience coaching and teaching in multiple sports. He has a passion for writing about athletes and seeing them successful in all aspects of life.

Eric currently attends Central Michigan University, where he plans on majoring in Entrepreneurship. Eric has been involved with basketball his entire life; his dad was a coach throughout his childhood and he has been attending his father’s practices since he was 5 years old. He played high school and AAU basketball from 7th grade until he graduated.

Kwabene is a homeschooled senior from Grand Rapids, MI. He has played basketball all through high school and has competed with his team in homeschool competition at the state, regional, and national levels. He has also always enjoyed creative pursuits including writing and video editing. Outside of Prep Hoops, he covers high school athletics through his homeschool sports site and basketball highlights on his YouTube channel.

Dylan Backalar

Dylan Backalar
Dylan will be attending Ball State next year to study sports broadcasting. He also plans on student managing their men's basketball program. Dylan started playing basketball in 4th grade and he continued throughout high school playing on his school's team and with various AAU programs. Dylan started covering basketball in Michigan his junior year of high school with MichHsBball.com which is now a site only for girls basketball. Dylan currently helps out with North Oakland Wolfpack's 15U team as an assistant coach. Dylan wants to either enter the field of sports media or coaching.
