Trent Markwith joined PrepHoops as the Senior Contributor for Georgia in October 2017 and has been an instrumental part in growing the PrepHoops brand in the Peach State, along with contributing to our coverage in the other Southeastern states. He is currently a student at Wofford, where he transferred to after playing two years of college basketball at Millsaps. Trent is in the gym as much as anyone with PrepHoops and is dedicated to finding and highlighting under the radar prospects. He is excited to continue to expand his connections and relationships throughout the Southeast so that he can help as many players as possible. Donta Eberhardt is, first and foremost, an advocate of the game of basketball. He graduated from Athens Academy (Ga) High School in 2011, playing four years of prep basketball for University of Georgia basketball legend James Banks. He went on to attend Georgia State University graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science in the fall of 2015. During his undergraduate tenure at GSU he assisted as a team manager with the men's basketball team and head coach Ron Hunter during their historic Sun Belt Championship and NCAA tournament run in 2015. He went on to receive his M.S. in the Sport Administration program from Georgia State in the spring of 2018. He is currently in his 3rd year as Head Coach of the JV boys and Assistant Coach for the Varsity boys basketball at Marist School in Atlanta. Donta is also a three year contributor for Shun Williams and On the Radar Hoops, evaluating Georgia and southeast prep basketball.
