Kyli Crooms is a California native who grew up and played high school basketball in the Inland Empire. After sitting his freshman year out due to injury, Crooms went on to be the starting point guard for his sophomore, junior and senior seasons at Alta Loma High School. In his last two high school seasons he earned All-Baseline League honors and was also selected to play in the Inland Empire All-Star game as well as the San Bernadino County All-Star game.
Crooms would go onto play college basketball at Vanguard University for his freshman season and the following season at Cerritos Community College. For his last two season Crooms landed a spot with NAIA Division 1 national powerhouse Arizona Christian University.
Since graduating in 2014, he has stayed close to the game by becoming a top trainer for Ultimate Hoops, which is ran nation wide through Lifetime Fitness. Over the past two years with the company, he has had great success and worked with various high school, colleges and professional players. Crooms also has experience as an AIA official in the Southern Arizona Region, where he refereed high school basketball for a season.
