Length plays well getting in passing lanes and getting into the opposing wing making it uncomfortable for them to operate. Offensively has the ability to slash and can hit a jumper.
Kaczmarek talked about the PrepHoops Top 250 Expo.
“The camp was really well run. Playing up and down. Competition is through the roof.”
How was his summer with the Illinois Stars?
“Troy Johnson when he brought the team together for the Illinois Stars we had a really good squad. Playing against the best teams in the Midwest really helped my game and develop confidence heading into my senior year.”
The senior broke down his game.
“I am a team player. I can go to the hoop and score. I take pride in my defense. I can knock down the open shot.”
He is looking forward to his senior year at Downers Grove South.
“We are bringing back 10 seniors and four starters from last year. A lot of the kids on our team have experience playing at showcases like the PrepHoops showcases so they are playing against good competition also.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I took two visits recently to St. Ambrose and Roosevelt. I have a couple D3 schools calling like St. John’s, Loras, Lawrence, and a few others.”
Roosevelt impressed him on the visit.
“I really like the downtown area and the coach. I got to play with the guys. They are pretty good and have some solid bigs and guards. I like the campus.”
St. Ambrose is also showing heavy interest in him.
“I like the campus. Not too big, but not too small. Didn’t get to play with the guys because they are building a new gym. That should be good. The coach is really funny and I like their staff.”
Does he have a timeline for a decision?
“I will play my high school season out and then pick where I go to school in the spring.”
