A long, lanky and athletic wing, Soenksen helped lead the Indians to the best season in school history last year. A versatile scoring threat who shot 45% from the arc last year, he’ll look to build on last season’s success and try to get Camanche to the state tournament for the first time.
First Team
2017 Dakota Soenksen, Camanche (14.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 45.5 FG%, 45.1 3P%)
Soenksen is the leading returning scorer, third leading rebounder and fourth assist man in the division. His all-around versatility, on both ends of the floor, make him a difficult matchup for anyone, and he looks like he’s only gotten better.
2017 Dylan Hundley, Camanche (13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals, 49.0 FG%, 40.6 3P%)
The third leading returning scorer in the division, Hundley is the top rebounding returnee. Like Soenksen, he’s a versatile player who can score from anywhere, as evidenced by his nearly 41% shooting from the arc, and he fills the box score every night.
2017 Kyle Dell, Northeast Goose Lake (8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 43.7 FG%, 36.0 3P%, 78.6 FT%)
The floor general for a Northeast team that will push Camanche, Dell committed just 45 turnovers last season and dished out more than three assists a game. A steadying voice on the floor, look for his scoring numbers to increase after the graduation of Will Hasken.
2018 Luke Empen, Northeast Goose Lake (8.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 50.0 FG%)
The best true big man in the division, Empen has been working to expand his game and get away from the rim a bit. With a much improved mid-range game in tow, look for his scoring numbers to rise. He’s a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor, and his interior defense is top-notch.
2018 Cade Daugherty, Bellevue (13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists)
The number two returning scorer, Daugherty is asked to carry a significant load for Bellevue, a task he has proven capable of handling.

2017 Logan Minar, North Cedar
2017 Zach Parson, Northeast Goose Lake
2018 Johnny Supple, Cascade
