- Colten Kresl 6’0 Chaparral (Powerhouse Black) – Kresl is an elite shooter from beyond the arch. He can knock down shots, both, off the catch and off the dribble. His slick handle and ability to make plays off the bounce sets him up well as he is able to keep opponents off balance, creating space for open shots.
- Noah Baumann 6’5 Desert Vista (Powerhouse Black) – Baumann is quickly become one of the hottest commodities in the state and a huge part of it is his ability to shoot the ball. He’s a dangerous catch and shoot strength because of his size and his ability to get his shot off over defenders with little space.
- Dre Marin 6’0 Apollo (AZ Power Factory) – Marin is not a volume shooter but he is efficient. He can shoot it off the catch and off the bounce and only takes shots he knows he can make. From a clutchness factor, he’s probably got the most ice in his veins on this list.
- Max Moses 6’0 Arcadia – After a big junior season Moses has solidified himself as one of the top outside scoring threats in the state. He plays with high energy, moves well without the ball, and is as good as anyone catching and shooting on the move.
- Alex Barcello 6’2 Corona del Sol (Oakland Soldiers) – Clearly the best player on this list, Barcello is both a playmaker and a scorer which is all complemented for his ability to shoot it from deep. While he has been inconsistent from beyond the arch, he has a nice form and fills it up when he’s hot.
- JT Thoman 6’1 Chaparral (AZ Power North Platinum) – A shooter extraordinaire. Thoman is definitely a specialist. He is very good shooting off the catch from the perimeter. He moves well without the ball and understands how to set his opponent up allowing him to free himself quickly.
- Jeff Perez 6’0 Apollo (AZ Power Factory) – Perez may be the third scoring threat for Apollo but he’s arguably the team’s best outside shooter. He’s got a quick release off the catch and is deadly if given space.
- Carson Pinter 6’1 Seton Catholic (Powerhouse Red) – Another guy who is a specialist. Pinter is a shooter and there are no ifs and or buts about it. However, he’s a shooter with RANGE and pulls them deep with consistency and accuracy. He’s also improved his ball handling ability enough to beat a smothering on ball defender into a pull up jumper.
- Cam Miller 5’11 Salpointe Catholic (AZ Power Tucson Black) – His toughness and IQ is what sets him apart but, don’t get it misunderstood, Sean’s son is lethal from the perimeter off the catch.
- Nick Rosquist 6’0 The Gregory School (Just Hoops) – Rosquist is the only small school player on this list but for great reason. The 6’0” guard was one of the state’s leading scorers as a junior and has lit it up thus far on the travel circuit with his Tucson-based team.
