Brice Robinson to Illinois Wesleyan
Illinois Wesleyan continues to add to their strong class. Sunday night they picked up a huge commitment for their front court with the addition of Oswego senior power forward Brice Robinson. The post told us why they were his choice.
“I chose IWU because Coach Rose and company have been with me throughout most of my recruiting process and made it to almost every game this season. They showed me that they really wanted me and I fell in love with the tradition and community there. I also felt really welcomed by the players and feel like I will fit in well on the team.”
Robinson has long arms and a good build to go with solid athleticism for his size. The post finishes well inside and has a quality feel for how to score in the post with his back to the basket. He is active on the glass snatching boards aggressively and contributes second chance points offensively. Robinson is a sound passer out of the post when doubled and runs the floor well.
The Oswego senior ranks as the #61 overall prospect in the state and #12 power forward. He played with Chicago Lockdown on the travel team circuit.
