“My senior season was lots of fun even though it didn’t end the way our team wanted it too,” Hayden said. “I will remember having fun playing with my teammates everyday.”
The Hettinger/Scranton Night Hawks won ten in a row and 14 of 16 before dropping two of their last three games including the Region 7 game against New England 74-70.
Sadowsky had to work extra hard this year to get into space as teams designed defenses to limit Hayden’s touches.
“I was chased every game so I saw each teams best defense every game,” Sadowsky told PHD. “I think that helped me with learning how to play faster but also under control.”
Hayden is about to make a college decision so he’s working on improving his game and thinking about picking a school.
“For college I just need to keep working out and be ready to adapt to an even faster game,” said Haydowsky. “Williston State, Mayville State, South Dakota Tech are showing interest. I will decide on a school in the next week or two.”
