Quincey Marlatt battled back from a serious injury to make his mark on his final high school season.
“My senior season went well,” Marlatt said. “I missed the first three games of the season because of my ACL but other than that every thing went well. The thing I’ll remember most is how well we played as team in the first year of a co-op. We ended 16-5 and made a huge statement as a new team.”
With the combining of the Milnor and North Sargent programs there were many guys in new roles including Quincey.
“This year my game grew a lot because a lot of our guys’ roles got switched because we basically had a whole new team,” Quincey explained.
“I just worked more on becoming more of a pure point guard and I’ll continue to do that because that’s most likely what I’ll most likely play in college.”
Now healthy Marlatt is looking forward to getting back on the court and playing college hoops.
“Lake Region State has been the most active. I’ve also gotten letters from Jamestown lately. I took an unofficial to LRSC already. I’m in the process of setting an official up with them.”
