The Wildcats offered in August after a Reebok team camp, and the Redbirds were first to offer after last July’s live period.
Dorsey is now gearing up for what could be another big summer, and he’ll spend his 17U campaign once again with Team Blueprint.
He’s got some goals he’d like to accomplish while on the circuit, with one specific dream in mind.
“I just want to win tournaments and get a lot of looks from colleges,” said Dorsey. “I really want to get a look from North Carolina though, that’s a school I want to go to, so I have to work hard. It’s my dream school and I like how Roy Williams coaches.”
Dorsey says there are two schools still hot on his trails, who may be next to offer.
“Florida Gulf Coast and Buffalo are showing a lot of interest. I feel like Florida Gulf Coast will offer next,” said the talented guard, Florida’s 27th-ranked 2017.

“My shooting improved, I got a lot better with that. I would shoot everyday, and get up about 500 shots, especially my perimeter shooting,” said Dorsey.
“I started off kind of slow (this season), but I started working my way back up and averaging more points. My role was to bring energy, score when I needed too, and that’s about it.”
