Aanen Moody (Dickinson). The Class A’s leading scorer by a big margin Moody scored 33 points a game with 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.4 steals a contest shooting 37 percent from the arc and 49 percent from the floor which is outstanding considering he took 22 shots a night and had all the defensive attention.
Dalton Feeney (Bismarck Century). Put up 20.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this season shooting 47 percent from the floor, 41 percent from the arc, and 71 percent at the foul line for the team ranked number one most of the year.
Siman Sem (Fargo North). The leading scorer in the EDC at 21.4 points per game also grabbed 7.8 rebounds, dished out 3.9 assists, was fourth in the league in steals at 2.4 plus shot nearly 38 percent from the arc on the season. Pushed the pace as the lead guard plus scored in numbers.
Jacob Mertens (Devils Lake). This is the very definition of a guy filling it up. The junior averaged 20.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game shooting 81 percent from the foul line and 45 percent overall.
KyJuan Johnson (Minot). The lead guard had a team high 12 points a night shooting 44 percent at the arc, averaged 4.6 assists, three steals, and three boards a game for the state champions with a 2.3 to one assist to turnover ratio.
Second Team
Braedan Hanson (GFRR). Hanson scored 18.2 points a night with five boards and three assists a game while also defending the opposition’s best, handling the ball often and was one of Class A’s better free throw shooters at 75 percent.
Ahmed Aden (West Fargo). The 6-foot-4 had an outstanding season with 17 points and nine rebounds a game shooting 43 percent from the floor on 412 shots overall. Was dynamic on the offensive glass and he was a threat out to the arc.
Noah Wanzek (Jamestown). Had a better year than was given credit for. Averaged 20 points and 10.2 rebounds a game shooting 62 percent from the floor and 65 percent from the foul line for a 13-11 team.
Creighton Pfau (West Fargo). Was one of the toughest and best all around players in Class A with 14 points. 9.5 rebounds, and four assists a game while shooting 54 percent from the season and fighting hard every night on the glass.
DeSean Eikens (Williston). Scored 21.9 points per game with 11.2 rebounds a contest on 41 percent shooting from the floor, 24 percent at the arc, and 49 percent at the foul line. Led the team in blocks, was a sophomore. Has since moved to Utah.
Third Team
Adam Geiger (Bismarck Century). Geiger scored 13.1 points per contest shooting 47 percent from the field and 38 percent at the arc where he took most of his shots. Continues to also be one of the toughest defenders.
Jake Paper (Fargo Davies). Paper had a season that made many stand up and take notice as he produced 17 points and 8.4 rebounds a night shooting 64 percent from the floor. At 6-foot-6 he is expected to be a major force next year as a senior.
Trae Steckler (Mandan). Huge year for the sophomore averaged 19.4 points and 8.1 rebounds a game shooting 58 percent from the floor and 69 percent from the foul line leading a ten win squad into the future.
Matt Veit (Fargo Davies). Veit was a key piece in the 21-6 season for Davies putting up 18.4 points, six boards, and four assists a game plus leading the EDC in steals with 3.4 a night. The 6-foot-1 junior made a great pair with Paper.
Braydon Lund (Minot). With 10.5 rebounds he was one of the best on the glass in Class A plus scored 11 points a game shooting 62 percent from the field overall as a senior for the state champions.
Fourth Team
Jordan Meidinger (Dickinson). The seven footer changed games with his shot blocking swatting three a night and changing others plus averaged 11 points and eight boards a game for much improved Dickinson.
Brayden Thomas (Bismarck). Thomas averaged 13.7 points and 9.5 rebounds for the game stepping up to 54 percent from the floor this season overall.
Carson Zarak (Wahpeton). Produced 17 points, five boards, and four assists a game as a senior for the 7 win Huskies.
Jesse Roberts (Minot). With 11.5 points per game on a balanced team Roberts also shot 43 percent at the arc for the state champs.
Zach Dahlen (Devils Lake). The junior had 15.7 points and 4.8 rebounds a contest shooting 41 percent from the floor and 37 percent at the arc.
Fifth Team
Connor Hellebust (Bismarck). Dealt with injuries all year leading to seven missed games. Scored 15.2 points a contest this year making 72 percent of his free throws.
Joe Pistorius (West Fargo). Scored 15 points a game as a sophomore but more important made some gigantic plays in the clutch all year.
Collin Trottier (WF Sheyenne). The 6-foot-7 junior post improved greatly this year giving his team 14 points and five boards a game shooting 77 at the foul line.
Hunter Burchill (Valley City). Sophomore guard that gave Valley City 15 points, four rebounds, and a few assists a night providing steady backcourt play.
Tanner Lunzman (Jamestown). Senior put up 12.2 points and 3.5 assists a game while shooting 42 percent from the floor and 73 percent at the foul line.
Kade Hoeg (Fargo North). The sparkplug senior guard scored 12.8 points a game for North with three boards and two assists.
Sixth Team
Austin Wolf (Bismarck Legacy). Sophomore netted 11.1 points per game shooting 56 percent leading the team in those categories as well as blocks, rebounds, and nearly assists.
Justin Engg (Minot). Scored 11 points a game and was second on the team with 5.4 rebounds plus 76 percent at the foul line.
Cole Gendreau (St. Marys). Scored 15.3 points per game shooting 43 percent from the field leading in scoring, assists, and steals.
Jeremy Friesz (Mandan). Jeremy put up 12.3 points per game shooting 41 percent at the arc and 47 percent overall.
Cameron Saville (Fargo Shanley). Put up 11 points, four boards, and 2.5 assists a game as a sophomore for 13-10 Shanley.
Luke Leingang (Bismarck Century). The frontcourt player gave his team 8.4 points and a team leading 6.8 rebounds a game.
