At 6’5 the long lengthy wing is capable of playing & defending multiple positions. VanBeekum heled the Trojans on a deep playoff run where they fell to eventual champions & rivals Shadow Mountain. VanBeekum led the way along with his teammate Dominic Rogiers.
VanBeekum has the potential and skills to flourish at a 4 year university or even a stint at a competitive junior college here in the valley.
For next fall, CJ is hearing from numerous schools such as Arizona Christian, Benedictine, & Westmont, as well as numerous junior colleges around the valley in the ACCAC.
CJ hasn’t made any decisions yet but plans on narrowing his focus to a decision soon as he is nearing the end of high school as graduation approaches.
