Game On The Rise
Tre Williams, Woodstock
The Class of 2019 prospect has been inundated with a stockpile of offers this summer.
Possessing elite level athleticism and the type of trampoline bouncy explosiveness which mirrors the Division I game, Williams has the look and attributes of an A-10 caliber prospect.
At 6-foot-7 and 235 pounds, Williams has the physical make-up and style to be an interior banger. He’s active on the glass and is developing a motor.
His footwork and ability to finish through contact are notable facets of his game. While he’s got a consistent 15-17 foot jumper, he’s in the process of establishing a 3-point shot.
Louis Bleechmore, SCS
The 6-foot-6 combo guard has gone from a bone-thin shooter to a polished all around threat. Deceptively athletic and having made strides with his above the rim game, Bleechmore has shown promising flashes these last few months.
As he becomes more consistent and develops a killer instinct, the Class of 2020 prospect has a great chance. He’s gotten significantly stronger and increased tremendously with his ball handling.
The Class of 2020 prospect needs to stay engaged through four full quarters of basketball and impose his will.
Danil Isaev, International
The Russian sharpshooter brings deadeye shooting and has the skill set to play both guard spots. While he could use a few tweaks to his game regarding his toughness and body transformation, the Class of 2019 prospect would provide immediate contributions wherever he lands.
He’s currently deciding between NTSI Orlando and On Point Acad. (OK).
The 6-foot-5 guard played most of this past season at Maine Central Institute, albeit a transcript issue rendered him ineligible for some time.
Malcolm Farrington, BPA
With his longtime connection to the South Florida area, Arkansas State head coach Mike Balado discovered an unsung talent in 6-foot-4 off guard Malcolm Farrington out of Port St. Lucie.
Farrington, known to dial in from downtown, broke open several Grind Session games with his shooting and efficiency.
He scored 20 points and doled out four assists en route to MVP honors in BPA’s win over Charles Bassey led Aspire (KY) during the Lighthouse Classic.
Now laced with a defensive toughness and a motor, the Class of 2019 prospect is beginning to blossom.
Romar Reid, Woodstock
The best aspect of the Class of 2019 prospect’s game is his selflessness and ability to create and playmake for others.
Reid, who averaged 15 PPG under Steve Alvarado with the NY Rens, is your quintessential heady and oft-facilitating guard. He showed this the past season at Iona Prep, which displayed good guard play during the Palm Beaches National Invitational tournament at Christmas time.
Keon Kindred, Wellington
At 6-foot-5, the promising Class of 2022 Keon has the build of a blacksmith.
He’s got legit size and surprisingly established skill set, which is rare for a player of his youth. While Keon still needs to learn the varsity system, remember the name as he’s got the essential qualities to be a beast down the road.
Brendon Williams, Wellington
The younger brother of recently graduated sharpshooter and prolific scoring guard Bryan Williams, the Class of 2022 prospect has shown flashes this summer.
While he’s got a ways to go with the maturation process and still has yet to hit his growth spurt, Williams has an intriguing catch and stick game. The Class of 2022 prospect’s ability to create his own shot and facilitate are indicative of his beyond his years skill set.
