You can check out this talented Wolfpack squad July 26th-29th at GRBA Nationals in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Here are some of their key pieces
Matt Nicholson 6’10 Clarkston– Nicholson has been making a name for himself as one of the top bigs in Michigan’s 2020 class. It’s obvious that the big has a ton of size but it’s what he does with his size. He is always positioned great around the basket on both ends of the floor. He has a high IQ and is poised for a big junior year.
Cole Donchez 6’0 Clarkston– Donchez was one of the main reasons for Clarkston’s JV team finishing the season with a 19-1 record. Donchez will be getting significant minutes this year on their varsity squad. Donchez, a three sport athlete, is a knockdown shooter.
Trey Townsend 6’5 Oxford- Townsend is a freak athlete. The long oxford wing runs the floor very well. He can also push the floor and is a strong finisher. Townsend is. a very talented under the radar player.
Myren Harris Chippewa Valley 5’11
Miles Harris Chippewa Valley 5’11
Jordan Johnson L’anse Cruse 5’10-
The Wolfpack often play a line up with the three guards in, and they all play very similar games. On the offensive end they all have strong jump shots and do a good job at penetrating. More importantly, they all do the little things that helps their team win. All three are great perimeter defenders and do a great job moving without the rock.
The Wolfpack also had rising Clarkston sophomore, Garrett Dellinger on their squad during the spring but he had to leave the team to prioritize football. Dellinger holds football offers from Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State.
