WIND’S KS TOP 50 2019: #50 TO #46
2019 is a good class when you incorporate the Sunrise players into the public school players in the state of Kansas. Let’s get this party started with #50 through #46 and highlight those players in Kansas, graduating next year in 2019!
#50, BRADEN BELT, Andover Central 6’1″ shooting guard, B-squared can really stroke the basketball from deep downtown. He can really hurt you coming off those screens. Fundamentally sound with KCAC schools at that upper NAIA level hunting him down this July and later on this Winter.
#49, JAYLIN RANDLE, Wichita East 5’10” point guard, plays for Joe Jackson at East and he’s a strong and physical point guard with some combo skill capability but a little undersized. He likes to get the rock into the teeth of the defense and then pitch it to a trey shooter or shoot the baby jumper.
#48, AARON KING, Yates Center 6’5″ small forward, AK can probably play the 2 guard at the next level as well. He’s long and gangly and shoots it well with range. Aaron is a gym rat and a really good student who loves the game and would become a strong 3-man in time at the KCAC level in Kansas.
#47, MASON MYERS, Olathe North 5’11” combo guard, MM used to be a better shooting guard, now he’s a solid NAIA point guard with excellent toughness and defensive skills and the consummate winner. Good student, a winner! Plays for Don Weston’s KC Spurs team. Also a very good QB-DB football prospect.
#46, NOLAN VEENIS, Maize South 6’3″ shooting guard, would have been rated much higher prior to a year ago, he blew his ACL out and lost most of his JR season. Very long and skilled, while the injury has limited his athleticism, his skill package and overall floor game still cries out KCAC at the NAIA level.
Next up … #45 to #40.
