Jacob Nicolds 6’5 2016 Gilbert – Nicolds was the heart and soul of the Tigers. Though Chris Bowling was their top performer, Jacob was the glue and the engine that kept them going. He played with a ton of passion and a high motor which helped Gilbert to a semifinal finish.
Caleb Simmons 6’5 2017 Desert Vista – Simmons was the most productive player on a Desert Vista team that stayed around the top ten all season. Though their group was inconsistent, Caleb always made plays on both ends of the floor to give them a chance. He scored, distributed, defended, and rebounded.
Kyle Van Haren 5’11 2016 Perry – After losing Markus Howard there were big questions for the Pumas. However, Van Haren took the leadership role in stride and helped Perry hover around the top ten all season, earning a first round bid in the state tournament.
