SF Nick Robinson (Kenwood)
Robinson is the state’s top unsigned wing prospect. This past week he landed an offer from St. Louis University. Also has received an offer from St. Joseph’s since his decommitment from Indiana State. Robinson notes that he is starting to hear from California quite a bit.
SG Zion Morgan (Kenwood)
Toldeo and Ball State are a pair of programs that are in pursuit of the Valpo decommitment. Morgan holds an offer from Toledo and he says that Ball State is close to extending one as well.
PF Lorenzo Edwards (Lake Forest)
Edwards is the second highest rated post prospect available. He has recently added offers from Duquesne and George Mason. The efficient low post scorer has other offers from Furman, St. Louis, Loyola, and Tennessee State. Recruiting is on hold until the season comes to a conclusion.
SG Antonio Williams (Proviso East)
Williams is the top JUCO recruit in the state of Illinois and a top 15 recruit overall. The dynamic scoring two guard says the schools involved right now are State Fair, South Plains, Kirkwood, and Vincennes. State Fair and South Plains are in the lead at this point, but will take visits to both and more before deciding.
SG George Wilborn (De La Salle)
Wilborn has had a monster senior campaign scoring with his athleticism. Some of the programs that are showing interest, but haven’t offered include Drexel, James Madison, New Hampshire, and Furman. Waiting until after season to decide on visits and see what offers come.
PF Anthony D’Avanzo (Niles Notre Dame)
Skilled four man that impressed during the summer gave us the scoop on where his recruitment is currently. He has looks from a variety of levels. D1 Kent State is showing interest. At the D2 level he is hearing from Lindenwood, Rockhurst, and Lewis. He is also considering a pair of D3’s in Augustana and Carroll.
PF Jack Clausel (Newark)
Clausel is a face up four man that can stretch the floor with his shot. He is down to North Central, Millikin, Benedictine, and Clarke. The power forward has visited all four and plans on deciding at the conclusion of his season.
SG Josh Thomas (Simeon)
The Simeon standout has been consistent throughout his senior campaign. He says he is garnering interest from a few Missouri Valley programs as well as Valpo, Northern Illinois, and Toledo.
SG Tyler Houston (Knoxville)
Houston is a physical wing that can light it up from deep. He says the programs he is actively speaking with include Loras, Roosevelt, Elmhurst, Augustana, Clarke, Monmouth, Parkland, and William Penn. He has visited most of them already and plans on taking in Parkland, William Penn, and Monmouth soon.
PG Josh Robinson (Normal West)
Sleeper point guard has had Drake and Eastern Illinois in to see him practice. Southern Illinois has also taken a look at him. No offers from the trio to this point.
PG Lou Griffith (Washington)
Griffith is a tough as nails competitor that can shoot the rock from deep. He says he has been in contact with Missouri Baptist, Michigan Tech, Spring Hill, Concordia, Irvine University, St Ambrose, Kirkwood, ICC, Indian River State, and Elmhurst. He has visited Elmhurst, Spring Hill, and Irvine. Has trips set for Missouri Baptist, St. Ambrose, and might take a return trip to Spring Hill.
PF Luke Davis (Dekalb)
The quality lefty post has visited a trio of JUCO’s in Diablo Valley, Rock Valley, and Kish. He took an unofficial to Rock Valley and plans on taking an official to Diablo in the spring. Decision in late April or early May.
C Roiyell Nesbitt (Mt. Vernon)
Mt. Vernon 6’8” center Roiyell Nesbitt is a big bodied post that is still learning the game, but continued to get better as the season progressed. A couple JUCO colleges are interested with Knox, Kaskaskia, and Rend Lake. Also D2 Arkansas Fort Smith has shown interest.
PG Ethan Meeker (Galesburg)
One of the most underrated prospects in the state is this combo guard. He is hearing from Kirkwood, Parkland, Augustana, and Wesleyan. Plans on taking visits to Kirkwood and Parkland in the near future.
PF Bennett Fuzak (Geneva)
The former Grace College commit reopened his recruitment. He took visits to D2 programs Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. Received offers from both by the time he left. Took visit to Lewis for their regular season finale as well.
PF Will Reinhard (Barrington)
Sleeper post that can score with his back to the basket with good strength tells us the only program he is in regular contact with is the University of Chicago.
