Ronny Williams
5’9 – PG – 2017
I wanted to see Williams against tougher competition and how he would fare. He excelled and really dictated the game on both ends. He has a great motor and never stopped with his aggression. I really liked how he either took the ball to the rim or took a 3-pointer, he is really good at both. He also ran the offense really well and made good passes to teammates. I’m excited to see Williams again and this was one of the better games by a guard I have seen all year long. –
Greg Dixon
6’3 – SG – 2016
Dixon scored in the game to start it off and just would not stop making baskets. He takes the ball to the hole well and can finish through contact. He showed a really nice looking mid-range jumper as well. Did not shoot any 3-pointers but he did not have to do so. A really nice game shooting wise from Dixon and he could make an impact at the next level somewhere. –
Franklin Nunn
6’3 – SG – 2016
Scoring 20 a game I expected a little more out of him but he also did not need to do much other than be a solid rebounder and a rim protector. He had a few steals and a few blocks but really did the damage inside and on the boards. Probably could have been a little bit more aggressive but I liked what I saw from him this afternoon. –
Indianapolis Attucks:
Teyon Scanlon
6’0 – SG – 2017
Scanlon opened the game up pretty quick and scored at a fast rate but kind of tapered off after stopping his aggression to the rim. He is a solid point guard but tried to do too much at times in the game. He brought the ball up the court in the first half and then played off ball in the second half which showed me his versatility and his ability to move off the ball. He does not excel at one thing so it will be interesting what he improves over the summer. –
Nike Sabande
6’2 – SF – 2017
Sabande was impressive in the good due to his length and he was able to play really good defense without reaching in. He showed a nice mid-range jumper and knocked down a few. He’s a tall guard and while he does not have the greatest handles he can handle it good enough. He mainly ranged in the paint but stepped out a little and set some decent screens but I think he could have rolled and been very effective.
