Rhyss Lewis
6’2 – SG – 2016
Rhyss was the guy for Chesterton in this game. He ran the point and got the team into their game plan. He’s really a long scoring guard but at this level he can play the point and be pretty effective. Did a decent job defensively on Parker Chitty keeping him from getting into the lane too much. Was really good in transition where he can beat people down the floor and finish quickly. – 25 points
Niles Dilosa
6’2 – SG – 2016
Dilosa is a big, strong guard who loves to break guys down off the bounce and get at the rim. Was really quiet to start the game but picked it up in the third quarter. Had trouble creating scoring opportunities. Was best when he was able to catch and come off of screens. Niles has a lot of tools but it didn’t show all of them in this game but still got the win. Nice athlete who should get some DII level looks. – 3 points
Jacob Weber
6’5 – PF – 2016
Weber was a bit of a surprise in this one. He’s a tall, lean forward with some strength and a solid ability to stretch the floor. He showed a little bit of post defense and was able to help on Chaz Painter and others. However, on the offensive end, he would play down low but could stretch out to three and was a great catch and shoot guy hitting three triples in the game. – 13 points
Columbus East:
Zach Sanders
6’2 – SG – 2016
This was a much better outing from Sanders than the other night. He’s got the type of game you expect from a two-guard. He can shoot it a bit, score it a bit and make plays for himself. Today, he knocked down a couple of shots early and it helped to spark his game. Had a couple decent drives later that he was able to create one on one with a defender. Zach could be a guy some DIII/NAIA programs look at to give them a scoring option on the wing. – 18 points
Parker Chitty
6’2 – PG -2016
Not nearly as good as the other night in Marion but still a solid outing. Got plauged with foul trouble early and that hurt him down the stretch with what he was able to do. Would have liked to see the same performance as the other night but if this is the floor of what he gives you, a 14 point game where he dished out quite a few assists and was solid rebounding the ball and ran the team like a true point, then I’ll take it. – 14 points
Kevin Williams
6’6 – SF – 2016
Williams might not get enough credit for just how hard he plays. Puts every ounce of effort he has into the game and while he doesn’t have a ton of skill, he probably gets more out of what he has than anyone else. Worked really hard around the basket and if he got the ball on the block, he was going to score it. Tough kid that plays really hard and is a great guy too. Solid game today for Williams. Can play the 3/4 for some DIII/NAIA schools. Versatile enough to defend on the wing as well as the post. – 14 points
