Chance Pride Recruiting Update (2019)
Reserve guard for BMaze Elite 17u Chance Pride is making the most of his summer. He is getting his face and game out there with multiple camp opportunities.
“I have been invited to the University of Tampa Elite camp,” shared guard Chance Pride.
Heading in to his senior year Chance understands time is ticking on his recruitment. With William Blount HS Chance recorded approximately seven ppg, six apg, two spg, and three rpg.
“I am attending Catawba (camp),” said Chance Pride. “I was invited to Texas Wesleyan Elite camp, South Alabama, Princeton, Newberry.”
A 5-foot-8 guard for William Blount High School, Chance Pride attended the Newberry College camp. He also dropped by the Kentucky Christian camp.
“I have attended Kentucky Christian (camp) and they have show interest,” said Chance Pride. “And I’m going back for another camp.”
Kentucky Christian University is an NAIA university, obviously in Kentucky, that finished 15-16 this past winter. The program dons a red knight logo similar to Rutgers University. This most recent season Kentucky Christian featured a 19-man roster 52.6% composed of Kentucky-born players.
Other colleges that invited Chance Pride include: West Georgia, Central Missouri, Queens, Asbury.
“Asbury University has shown interest and have invited me back for a visit July 9th,” said Chance Pride.
The Asbury Eagles compete in NAIA-D2.
“Arkansas Tech has invited me to their elite camp and University of Virginia.”
The camp adventures to come will be a proving ground for Chance Pride. Though he plays with BMaze he does not get heavy minutes behind Ques Glover and Jaden Springer.
“I play about 5-ish minutes a game with BMaze depending on who we play of course,” said Pride.
Despite his smaller workload Chance earned a glowing recommendation letter from BMaze AAU Founder/Head Coach Bobby Maze. You can read the letter in full below.
