NCWC Team Camp C/O 2019 Standouts
Jack Britt 2019 Wing 6’5 Calvin Washington: His performance during this team camp was probably the most impressive performance that we have seen from him. He pretty much showed us all the things that he can bring to the table on the court such as: scoring, rebounding, blocking shots and defending at a high level against multiple positions.
Knightdale HS 2019 Forward/Center Max Chambers: Rebounds the ball at a nice level and did a nice job running the floor. One thing that we really liked about him was that he didn’t try to do things that he was outside of being comfortable with.
Henderson Collegiate 2019 Guard Ashad Jefferson: Small in size but plays with a huge heart and a lot of energy on the court. He is the team’s primary ball handler and although he is still working on some things, he showed flashes of how good he can be.
Rolesville HS 2019 Guard Joseph Green: One of the primary ballhandlers on this team, it’s always a positive when you see a player like him being able to keep his turnovers low. The different defensive schemes that were thrown at him didn’t seem to bother him much and he put together a solid overall showing.
Henderson Collegiate 2019 Wing Micah Lewis: Although he is somewhat undersized for a wing player, he can score the ball at a very high level, using his shooting ability. Not only does he score the ball at a nice rate but also showed he can rebound the ball well, especially for a player that under 6 feet tall.
Jack Britt 2019 Guard TJ Ellis: Look for this young man to have a nice season for the Bucks, he can score the ball well and defends at a nice level. Where he really impressed us was with how well he pushed the tempo of the offense, he kept the defense on their heels with his constant attacking of his defensive opposition.
