The Bobcats shot 75% from the floor in the first half (13-16 2P, 5-8 3P), en route to a 20-point halftime lead.
Regina was able to close as close as 12 points at the end of the third quarter, with Nathan Stenger coming up with a steal, hitting a three from halfcourt and getting fouled in the process. He completed the four-point play to make it 56-44 heading into the last period, but Benton quickly opened it back up and never looked back.
Benton Community (4-4) was led by Tucker Schroeder, who had 22 points and nine rebounds. He was 10-14 from the floor in the win. Lathan Cooper added 20 points on 7-8 shooting (including 4-4 from the arc). Tyler Eggert and Hunter Semelroth each had 10 points for the Bobcats, who shot 62.8% on the night.
Iowa City Regina (3-3) was led by Andrew Adamec with 20 points. Nathan Stenger added 18 for the Regals. No other player scored more than four.
