NC Class of 2019 Names you should know
71st HS Wing Brion McLaurin: With his height and skillset, he has caught the attention of coaches at the college level already and should be picking up some offers soon. He knocks down shots from deep, makes plays above the rim, and is constantly working on his game, Low Major D1 and High D2 programs should be keeping a close eye on him.
Cape Fear Christian Guard Riley Adams: Expect a big time season from him when high school basketball starts back up. He has played well during the summer with Big Shots and should have some good showings in July during live period, Schools at the D3 level are showing high interest.
Word of God Christian Trevon Spencer: His athletic ability, length and coachability are all things that you have to really like about him. He is the type of player that will do whatever the team needs and once he gets to college, he will only get better. D1 programs have shown some interest as well as high level D2 programs.
Southern Vance Guard Corey Baldwin: There is a lot to like about what he brings to the table, he’s a guard with solid height, and shown that he can make plays for himself and others. Maturity/poise on the court are some of the things that separates him from many, he doesn’t seem to get rattled or frustrated with whatever is going on.
Southern Vance HS Guard Marcus Harrison: Marcus is an absolute scoring machine, don’t be surprised if you see him score a bunch of buckets in a small amount of time. JUCO programs should be tracking him already as he may need to go to this route before attending a four year program.
Purnell Swett Guard Kyler Page: Throughout the season he put together some big time games, he can score the ball at a very high rate and has nice size for a player at the guard spot. JUCO programs should definitely be on him as this will be a route that he may need to take.
