2019 Small College Wings
What wings in the Illinois 2019 class can be players that are difference makers for D3 and NAIA programs down the line? Here are a few that we like!
Malcolm Miller (Shelbyville)
Travel Team: Ramey-Jets United
Plus perimeter shooter with size. Can never have too many of those!
Maurion Scott (Homewood Flossmoor)
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Scott is a long and athletic wing that would be a major mismatch and scoring threat at the small college level.
Ryland Holt (Gibson City)
Travel Team: Illinois Irish
This should be a priority small college player with his perimeter shooting, size, and ability to score.
Keith Kiner (Chester)
Travel Team: Illinois Bears
Kiner is a high energy forward that can play both the three and the four at the D3/NAIA level with his quickness and athleticism.
Ikenna Okeke (Bolingbrook)
Travel Team: Hoopers
Okeke is a rangy wing that can shoot the basketball from the perimeter and gets after it defensively.
Teon Nesbitt (Butler Prep)
Travel Team: Chicago Demons
Nesbitt is a plus shooter from deep with range well beyond the three point arc.
Austin Gates (Bartlett)
Travel Team: Mercury Elite
Gates is a skilled two guard that moves well without the ball and is a sniper from deep.
Alex Raiford (De La Salle)
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Raiford presents upside at the small college level with his ability to knock down shots as well as defend multiple positions.
Filip Bulatovic (Maine South)
Travel Team: All-In Athletics
Very underrated prospect that will be a tremendous D3 or NAIA player with his scoring pop at multiple levels.
Donzell Johnson (Bloomington)
Travel Team: Illinois Warhawks
Johnson is a tough and athletic 6’2” two guard that attacks downhill and scores through contact as well as hitting pull up mid-range shots.
