All Spring Team: Class of 2019 Part 2
Team Felton Forward Greg Gantt: It’s been a heck of a few months for Greg, all the hours that he has put in the gym are paying off and a high amount of schools have taken notice. His versatility is one of the things that makes him special, this allows him to possibly be able to play multiple positions at the collegiate level.
Team Wall Guard Jamal King: After a rather quiet high school season, he has shown this spring that he still has all the tools that made him special last season. He can knock down shots from outside, finish at and above the rim, as well as defending at a solid rate.
Juice All-Stars Wing Max Farthing: He was a late addition to the Juice squad but he has played well and showed what he does best. Shooting wise he is one of the better shooters in the state, he already has games with 7/8 treys and is a player that colleges should love as he is a tall wing that plays within the flow of the offense.
Stackhouse Elite Guard Jalen Benjamin: The quick guard is one that causes all types of problems for defenders, throughout the high school season he has played at a high level and it has carried over to the AAU season. He has a gift for scoring the ball and knocking down shots from deep, plain and simple he knows how to win games.
Team CP3 Forward Dericko Williams: At one of the recent EYBL stops, he put on absolute show throwing down monster dunks against other top talent in the region. He plays the game with a high motor and doesn’t take plays off, schools at the MM and HM levels have begun to reach out.
WBC Elite Forward Jace McKinney: His athletic play has tuned heads just about all spring, he has made countless plays above the rim that had fans in awe. He is far from just a one dimension player though, he brings a high amount of energy and effort, rebounding the ball and battling inside the paint on a consistent basis.
Piedmont Classical Guard Shakeel Moore: The Josh Level Classic was the first time that we got to see him play live, of course we all have seen the various videos of him throwing down nasty dunks but we were excited to see what happens within the flow of the game. He played well and although he is a bit smaller in height, he was more than capable of holding his own.
Garner Road Forward Kadin Shedrick: The amount of improvement that he’s had over the years has been impressive, and schools have taken notice. The scary part is he is nowhere near done as a prospect, he still has plenty of upside left and will only get better due to the work that he puts in.
Garner Road Guard Shawn Walker Jr: We saw him years back in his freshman and the potential he had to be a special player was clear. He has put in plenty of labor and now the rewards are coming with impressive performances and schools coming in to extend offers to him.
