Prep Hoops takes a closer look at some of the top assist guys in the Palmetto State from the 2019 class.
Darius Taylor – Hemingway HS
Taylor has won already 2 1A State Championships while finishing runner-up in the other one for the Tigers. Taylor 5’11 point guard averaged 13.2 ppg and 7.2 assists last season for the Tigers (20-6). Taylor excels just as much on the football field as he recorded 11 interceptions last season. The Tigers football team finished the season at (12-1)
Jahrique Isaiah – Loris HS
Isaiah led the Lions to a record season (19-1) year before falling to Wade Hampton HS in the 3rd round of the playoffs. Isaiah averaged 12.1 ppg, 7.1 assists, 5.3 steals and 4.4 rebounds last season. Isaiah started playing AAU ball with the Confidence Cougars.
Khalil Robinson – Gray Collegiate
Robinson directed the War Eagles to the 2A State Championship last March. Robinson plays AAU with Team United EYBL averaged 11.6 ppg and 5.9 assists last season for the War Eagles (25-4).
Jaheim Handy – TL Hanna HS (Anderson)
Handy is a 94 feet type of guy who can really get the ball to the rack. Handy plays on the AAU circuit with the South Carolina Playmakers. Handy helped the Yellow Jackets to a (16-6) record while recording 14.1 ppg, 6 rebounds and 5.8 assists a game.
David Muncy – Shannon Forest Christian (Greenville)
Muncy has already committed to North Greenville University (NCAA D2) before his senior season. Muncy helped Shannon Forest Christian to a (23-4) season while scoring 24.8 ppg, 5.3 rebounds and dishing out 5.7 assists.
Mike Green – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Green is already the all-time leading scorer for the Saints with 1,726 points entering his senior year. Green a left-handed guard averaged 20.8 ppg and 5.6 assists last season for the Saints (18-10). Charlotte offered Green back in the early spring period. Green plays with the Georgia Stars on the Nike EYBL Circuit.

Hannibal recently switched AAU teams over to TMP . Hannibal picked up a offer from the University of South Carolina in the past few weeks. Hannibal a explosive power guard averaged 16.6 ppg, 8.3 rebounds and 5.6 assists this past season for the Red Foxes (16-9).
