Intro: Parker Wolfe (2021)
Effingham 5’9” 2021 point guard Parker Wolfe is a tough scoring lead guard that gets the most out of his ability every time he steps out on the floor. Wolfe lives at the free throw line getting in the lane and drawing contact. Also makes some excellent passes including on the money full court outlets for layups. Can also score with tough jumpers and pushing it in the open floor. He converts some really difficult layups at the rim amongst the trees.
Wolfe led his Illinois Bears 15U team to the Show Me Showdown crown to end the spring.
“It is going pretty good. I think our team is playing pretty well. We have played some good teams. We have good ball movement and beat some good teams.”
He has seen quite a bit of growth in his game over the last few months.
“I think I have gotten a lot better since the high school season. In the high school season I didn’t get to shoot much and I have been the main guy for my travel team. I have become a better player with my ball handling and shooting.”
What are the strengths of his game?
“Driving really good with my left hand. Using my strength through bigger guys. I can use my pull up game against taller guys.”
He is looking to take his momentum into the high school season next year at Effingham.
“It is going to give me a lot of confidence to play with my brother. I think we will be doing pretty good next year.”
