2020 Players to Watch
A look at some of the top 2020 recruits in North Carolina.
6’5” Jaden Springer (Rocky River/B. Maze Elite)-Has a strong ability to score the basketball from any where on the floor, able to get into the lane and draw contact while scoring or getting fouled. He has a nice frame and at 6’4 he has the size to be productive at his position at the next level. He has offers from some of the top conferences in the country and is making a name for himself nationally. He is playing this summer with B. Maze Elite and has been playing at a high level.
Jaden Springer5’11” Jalen Cone (Walkertown/Team Loaded VA)-One of the most electrifying players in the 2020 class for the state. Standing at 5’9, Cone is a player that can attack the rim and finish above it with rim-rattling dunks. He is a pure scorer and averaged in the low 30’s this season per game. He is playing this summer with Team Loaded Virginia and is showcasing his talents on the Adidas Gauntlet series.
6’7” Jaden Seymour (Northside Christian/Team Wall)-Great size and length, able to stretch the floor; strong; physical; very athletic; can finish plays well above the rim, high-major athlete, can consistently make shots from anywhere on the floor.
6’3, Myles Pierre (Carmel Christian/Team Charlotte)-Isn’t the most explosive wing, but he plays with a ton of toughness and with strength. The power guard is tough scoring in the paint along with getting to the charity stripe. Physical guard; uses his strength to get into the lane and is able to finish with contact; consistent shooter out to the three-point line; wants the ball at the end; winner mentality.
6’2, Talton Jones (Trinity Christian/Flight 22)-Big time finisher that attacks the rim every time he has a chance; can finish above the rim; forceful when attacking the rim; good shooter from the mid-range out; ability to break down a defense with a quick first step and is a strong defender.
