Top Of The Rockies Tourney Preview
This upcoming weekend is one of my favorite annual events of the spring! Colorado Chaos is hosting their Top of the Rockies tournament from May 4-6 at Golden High School and it is a great combination of on court talent and an outstanding facility to watch hoops for a whole weekend.
So who are some of the top Colorado programs that will be in the house? The list includes Boykins Basketball Academy, Colorado Anarchy, Colorado Cardinals, Colorado Hawks, Colorado Mayhem, Colorado Miners, Colorado United, South Central Elite, Wyoming Beasts, Wyoming Power and more!
Five players to check out:
Branden Bunn of Colorado Mayhem has seen his stock rise and getting college attention as of late. He’s an unsigned senior so not many opportunities to see much of him as I’m sure a school will pick him up soon, maybe even at the tournament.
Devin Carter – The younger Colorado Hawks squad have been on a tear and he’s been putting up massive games. That team is almost sure to be in the finals so there will be plenty of opportunities to check him out.
Caleb McGill of Colorado Chaos has been having colleges draped over him after a great start to the grassroot circuit. His size and abilities have separated him.
Kenny Foster – He’s on a loaded Colorado Hawks squad that’s sure to have college coaches at every single one of their games. He’s been putting together big games and his recent bundle of Division I colleges that have been interested tells you all you need to know about how well he’s been playing.
Jaylen Eikenberg– Colorado Cardinals are a fun bunch of hard workers that look like they always have something to prove. Jaylen has been having a great summer and has been getting attention of a few small colleges. He’s proving that he’s a go to player and fits any system. Now that he’s asked to do more – he’s delivering.
