Recruiting Report: Rashaun Agee (2019)
Bogan 6’8” power forward Rashaun Agee is a post that is quickly rising in the 2019 class. Agree is running with the Mac Irvin Fire on the Nike EYBL circuit this spring. He knows his role on the team! Board and finish! That is exactly what has done. In some respects it was reminiscent of the way Tamell Pearson played a year ago for the Fire in the spring. Agee is a great area rebounder that snatches them strong with two hands. Gets a lot of offensive rebound put backs and scores on dump off passes inside. Flashes some skill hitting an occasional floater. Runs the floor hard and plays with a lot of energy. Low-major no brainer at this point.
How was his season at Bogan this past year?
“In my opinion it went kind of well. Could have been better. In our last game we lost by 30. We came out lackadaisical. We should have hit them before they hit us, but overall we had a good season. I think I played good. I averaged a double double.”
He told us there are a couple areas in his game he feels he has imnproved.
“My jump shot and handling the ball more. Working more in the post.”
No offers at this point, but several programs showing interest.
“I have interest from Tulsa, Western Illinois, and Colorado State.”
Agee is currently the #33 overall prospect and #7 power forward in the 2019 class.
