Big Shots Carolina Live : UNSIGNED Seniors
Prep Hoops took in the action at Nation Ford HS (Fort Mill, SC) this past weekend at Big Shots Carolina Live. Lets take a look at a number of players that reamin UNSIGNED for next season.
Cameron Lee – North Stanly HS (New London) – Carolina Defenders
Lee 6’5 played last weekend in Spartanburg, SC at the Phenom Challenge with the Charlotte Clippers. Lee is a very skilled young man on the floor who can handle the rock very well. Lee went to Oldsmar Christian (FL) back in November 2017 and returned home in mid January 2018. Lee really likes to play out on the perimeter and has the ability to shoot the ball from 3 point range.
King Medley – Albemarle HS – Carolina Defenders (pictured on front)
Medley is a explosive athlete that likes to attack the basket. Medley 5’11 is extremely quick off the dribble and has the ability to create his own shot. Medley played defensive back on the gridiron really likes the ball in his hands and at times gets a bit fancy. Medley needs to play in a up-tempo style of play.
Ricky Clemons – Rolesville HS – WCBA Elite White
Clemons a left-handed guard really looked to attack the basket here today and had several assists. Clemons has the ability to score the ball whenever he desires. Clemons has a great mid-range game. Clemons averaged 19.8 ppg, 5.2 rebounds and 3 assists this past season for the Rams (16-11). Clemons finished his career with 1,728 points.
Jaren Ellerbe – Garner HS – WCBA Elite White
Ellerbe 6’4 has some serious bounce on the floor. Ellerbe finished above the rim a few times and really excels in the transition game. Ellerbe capitalized on a few floaters in the lane.
Ramello Williams – New Hanover HS – Flight 22 Unsigned
Williams is coming off a stellar career at New Hanover HS. Williams 6’2 a rangy guard is finally playing out on the perimeter after playing parts in the post during his high school days. Williams really defends the passing lanes and plays a great team concept of basketball.
Micale Harris – Hopewell HS (Huntersville) Sharp Shooters
Harris 6’8 has a great wingspan and length. Harris stays extremely active in the paint and keeps battling on every possession. Harris must add weight for the next level. Harris averaged 5.3 ppg and 5.5 rebounds this season for Hopewell HS. Harris blocked several shots here today.
Christopher Jackson – Hopewell HS (Huntersville) Sharp Shooters
Jackson a point guard has spent time at Combine Academy HS. Jackson 6’0 can really get into the gaps and plays for his father Head Coach Sherman Jackson on this team. Jackson has the ability to create his own shot on the floor.
