Recap: Midwest Throwdown
Here is a look at some of the top players from last weekend’s Recruit Look Hoops Midwest Throwdown in St. Louis.
Khalifah Muhammad 6’5″ Ramey-Jets United 17U:
Nick Zeil 6’8″ KC Pacers 17U Blue:
CE Talton 6’3″ Ramey-Jets United 17U: A small-school standout who has good size and a very smooth offensive game. His mid-range jumper is impressive as he gets very good separation and elevation on the shot. He can knock down a 3-pointer off the catch and get to the basket and score in the paint. He is always under control with the ball.
Tayven Glasgow 6’1″ KC Pacers 16U Blue: A very solid and physically built point guard who plays an old-school game with his ability to pass the ball and make his teammates better. He has a good feel for the game and excellent court vision and will always find the open man. He is strong on the dribble and will get to the basket and score through contact.
Breven McMullen 6’5″ SI Select 17U: A talented 2020 combo forward who is transitioning from a Stretch 4 into a wing player. He entered the high school ranks as a nice 3-point shooter, but in the past two years, he has continued to improve his athleticism and ball handling. With several guards missing over the weekend, he took over a big share of the ball handling duties and did it quite well.
Triston Turner 6’3″ KC Pacers 16U Blue:
Nathan Denklau 5’11” Arsenal 16U Reg:
