Unsigned Senior Standouts at OTRH Sweet 16 Showcase
Unsigned Seniors – Class of 2018
Quay Kennedy-
- Quay Kennedy –
Tennessee Panthers
- Kennedy put his range on display from well beyond the three-point arc all weekend at the Sweet 16 showcase put on by On the Radar Hoops. The 6’7” wing has no problem pulling up off the dribble, breaking defenders down in the half court with that dribble or handling the ball in transition for dunks and lay-ups. The unsigned senior from Columbia Central (TN) was able to finish strong at the rim, had nice floaters in the lane and had impressive chase down blocks defensively as well. Whether its division I, II, III, or JUCO Kennedy showed his worth during the first live period of the spring.
- Jarred Godfrey – Infinite Skillz
- Godfrey, who had already held an offer from Presbyterian College before the weekend, took advantage of the live period with his consistent play on both ends. The 6’4” point guard is a true floor general that can get others involved but was not afraid to show his aggression on the offensive end this weekend as well. The Sandy Creek (GA) prospect made strong drives to the basket from the wing and baseline, converting and drawing contact on multiple and one opportunities in the process. His outside jumper was also consistent as he led his Infinite Skillz team to the semifinals of bracket play. He picked up offers from Stetson and SIUE over the past 72 hours and proved his DI talent level once more heading into the second live period this weekend.

Eli Lawrence
Eli Lawrence – South Fulton Lions
- Lawrence, a senior out of East Point, Georgia had one of the better performances on the weekend this past Friday with the South Fulton Lions organization. He poured in 27 points in a win including six field goals from three and followed that up with another 22-point performance Saturday afternoon. The unsigned senior came into the live period ready to make a name for himself in front of several college coaches and did. He is a 6’5” slasher with a lot of length to his frame and did a good job of mixing up his offensive attack over the weekend. He averaged just under 22ppg in his senior campaign for Tri-Cities and that ability should land him a spot on a collegiate roster next season.
- Jah’Nile Hill – Georgia Heat
- Hill is a South Georgia product that has been on the radar for some time. He is a 5’11” speedster with big time athleticism that he exhibits on both ends of the court. His quick first step and tough shot making ability from the mid-range area against bigger defenders allowed him to average around 20 ppg at the Sweet 16 showcase over the course of three games. He is a two-time region player of the year at Manchester (GA) high school and has a knack for putting the ball in the basket on every level. He holds offers from Columbia State as well as Lawson College and picked up an offer from Southern Crescent Technical College over the weekend.

- Mobolaji Adesoga – Nike Elite Stars
- Energy is something that coaches want in any player but after a long weekend of games, it can be hard to find at an AAU showcase; this was not the case with Adesoga. He is a 6’8” 270lb wrecking ball on the low block and is another forward that is comfortable taking and making outside shots consistently. He held down the paint for rebounds and has very good feet to move up and down the floor as well as defend. He kept the Nike Elite Stars engaged in their game Sunday afternoon, starting defensive chants when getting back on defense and from the bench during the time he was out of the contest. He posted double-doubles in two games I saw him play at the Sweet 16 tournament and that contagious energy cannot go unnoticed. He is a proven winner, fresh off a state championship with Carver-Montgomery (AL), and holds offers from Highland Community College and Gadsden State.
