Top Shooters from the Dallas Live Period
Bryce Thompson 2020 OK Run PWP Guard
Thompson has shot the ball lights out. He has good form with a quick release that allows him to get his shot off against almost any opponent. Thompson has shot his way into a top 25 national ranking with his stock rising as he continues to be one of the best players on the court each game. He is drawing heavy interest from a long list of HM schools and with the way he is shooting the ball the list is sure to grow. Kansas was his most recent offer.
Kellen Hines 2019 Team Griffin Guard
Hines is a small guard that plays beyond his size. He is the best shooter on his team and when he is open he drills the shot. He has a pure stroke that helps his shot go down. When Hines gets hot he can score in bunches. He has good range that extends a little past the three-point line. Hines has recently picked up a NCAA Division II offer from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Trey Phipps 2020 OK Run PWP Guard
Phipps has picked up in the summer exactly where he left off for Booker T. Washington. He is a sniper from long range and finds ways to get his shot up. Phipps’ range extends well beyond the three-point line as he is comfortable drilling 25-30 foot shots. Phipps also showed a touch from inside the arc this weekend as he got some mid-range jumpers to fall for him. Phipps already has a couple offers from some LM Division I schools but is looking to draw more interest with the way he is playing this summer. He is currently leading the UAA 16U Circuit in scoring.
Cedric Rollerson 2019 Team Griffin Guard
Rollerson had a good weekend for Team Griffin. He played well and found his stroke from range. Rollerson was hitting his shots this weekend and the game seemed to be more comfortable in the offense in Dallas. Rollerson is a player that is hard to stop when his shot is falling for him. He could have a big summer for Team Griffin.
Gavyn Elkamil 2020 Team Griffin Guard
Elkamil did not have a starring weekend for Team Griffin but when he shot the ball it normally went in. Elkamil is a good shooter and can make his shots at all three levels. He can make contested shots while being guarded tightly or he can finish through contact. Elkamil will look to continue his good summer with shooting the ball at a high level. He could be vital to Team Griffin’s success this summer.
