Boone had a monster weekend for Oklahoma Run PWP dominating the glass inside. Despite having just committed to Oklahoma State, Boone did not settle now that he was off the board but brought an attitude with something to prove. Boone had one of the best weekends out of any Oklahoma prospect this past weekend. He is an absolute steal for Oklahoma State. If Boone can play the way he did this weekend he will play himself into the top 100 in the country.
Bryce Thompson 2020 Oklahoma Run PWP Wing
Thompson has lit the Under Armour Circuit on fire. He tore it up on his first weekend in Dallas. He has been dominant and can take over games. The ball comes off his hands with great confidence. He shoots over his defenders and can finish through contact. Thompson has started to draw a lot of attention because of the way he has played. He could not be stopped in PWP’s first win on the circuit. He shot the ball with efficiency and brought his team back from a 16 point deficit. Thompson is ranked in the Top 25 of the country and could be seeing his stock rise even more. Tonight, Thompson added his first blue blood offer to his list with Kansas extending an offer.
Dayten Holman 2020 OK Run PWP Guard
Holman had a good weekend for PWP. He handled the ball well all weekend and showed confidence with his handles. He is a good sized Guard that can drive the ball well and shoot the ball well. Holman can shoot the ball over defenders or beat his man on the drive. Holman plays solid defense and can get in the chest of his opponent. Holman’s stock has been rising as of late and he recently picked up an offer from Oklahoma State. Holman is looking to have a big some and draw the attention of some other big schools.
DJ Freeman 2020 Team Griffin Post
Freeman played with his heart on his sleeve this weekend. He was dominant for Team Griffin and could not be stopped on the inside. He banged down low and finished on the inside well. He even threw down some monster dunks throughout the weekend. Freeman played good defense on the other end of the court and forced his opponents to shoot over him. Freeman’s stock rose this weekend as he had some eye-catching performances.
Drew Tennial 2019 Team Griffin Wing
Tennial has continued his rampage for Team Griffin this summer. He has torn it up for his team slashing and finishing at the basket at will. Not many defenders can keep Tennial in front of him. Tennial got to the basket at will this weekend and shot the ball well from the outside. He forced turnovers on the defensive end that led to easy buckets on the other end. Tennial is catching the eyes of many as he has been playing lights out this summer. Tennial will look to keep his impressive performances up throughout the summer.
Kobe Burgess 2019 Team Griffin Guard
Burgess played good basketball this weekend. He did not try to do anything spectacular but did what his team needed. He assisted his teammates and found them when they were open for the easy bucket. Burgess also showed a touch from the outside as he shot the ball well from the perimeter all weekend. Burgess plays really solid defense locking down his man and applying a lot of pressure to his opponents. Burgess is a player that can get hot and score a lot of points in bunches. Burgess is a fun player to watch and will be interesting to see how he continues to develop.
