The Big House College Showcase: Part 3 2021/ 2022
Part 3, The Big House College Showcase!
Spring is an exciting time! Its the “Live Period” and if you not at a “Live” event, most teams are at college showcase trying to get noticed by a prospective college coach. Spring/ summer is the time when a player works on his game and also tries to make a name for himself. 8th Graders want to know can they make a varsity squad their first year, 9th graders want to become impact players and make a name for themselves going into their sophomore year.
9th Grade Division
TNBA 9th – Foreman, BWB Elite, Florida Sharks, Rising Stars, TNBA 9th – Hughes, Champions Elite D1, HSA Hoops, MCA, Team Hammer, Hoops Life, Lake Nona Cobras – Sanchez, Lake Worth Pride, North Florida Suns, Panthers, Heart N Soul, LCP, South Lake Hornets, Temple terrace Thunder, Rising Stars Basketball (GA), VCS, West Melbourne Select
In a hard fought contest VCS defeated Champions Elite D1 in the gold championship. This division was tough, all the teams battled back and forth. Champions Elite D1 looked to be the favorite going into the ship but VCS came to play and took the crown. Dorrien Douglas and Alvin Tumblin were the best two players in this division but several other played their way into my stock risers list.
