The Oklahoma 2019 Prospect Rankings have been updated as the prospects head into the first spring live period. There were changes throughout every part of the rankings. Over 75 prospects were added to the Rankings. Prep Hoops aims to project players in the rankings to their college level.
Keylan Boone had a monster year at Tulsa Memorial dominating at both ends in the toughest class in Oklahoma. Boone is a 6’7 skilled Wing with skills to be very successful at both ends of the floor. What elevated Boone was his production mixed with his potential to be a future pro as a two way player at 6’7. Boone recently committed to Oklahoma State with his brother Kalib who is featured in the top five as well.
Jacob Germany is a big for colleges to know inside the top five. Over this summer Germany has the making of a player that could blossom into a star. Germany holds offers from TCU and Mercer with several High Major programs reaching out to him.
There are two new additions to the top five are Antiono Gordon the Prep Hoops 2017-2018 Most Improved Player and Drew Tennial. Gordon has been fantastic learning to dominate his role at the stretch four spot. What makes Gordon so good is he can attack the defense effectively at all three levels. The motor of Gordon is off the charts.
Tennial led Edmond Memorial to the state tournament as the go-to option. This high school season Tennial showed great strides in his game on offense. He has turned into one of the best in the 2019 Oklahoma Class at attacking the basket. Tennial appears to be set for a monster spring.
The biggest riser in the top ten not in the top five is Ben Smith. For most of his high school career, Smith has played in the paint. However, Oklahoma Run PWP is featuring his talents on the Wing, which he has thrived in early. Smith could be one of the biggest stock risers in Oklahoma this summer.
The 2019 Oklahoma Class features great depth in the small college ranks. There could easily by 50+ prospects that end up playing basketball in college in this class.
