Top Standouts: Team Parsons Pre-Live Shootout (Part 1)
On Saturday, Team Parsons held a Pre-Live Shootout event at The First Academy in Orlando.
Teams filled the three courts the entire day including every single CP25 team.
It was a good day of hoops with a handful of really good performances.
Here is a look at the first part of the top standouts from the day.
Victor Rosa (Central Pointe Christian/Parsons International)
On a fast paced Parsons International group, Victor Rosa certainly makes his presence known. The 2020 guard/forward can shoot at a high clip and his ability to get off jumpers quickly helps his stock. Rosa stands at 6’5″ and uses his full length to score. Central Pointe Christian will be part of the SIAA next season.
Zach Anderson (Apopka/E1T1)
It is really difficult not to come away impressed with Zach Anderson’s game. The 2020 Apopka forward has the ability to handle the rock, run an offense, push the tempo and knock down jumpers. Anderson, a 6’5″ forward looked the part for the E1T1 16U bunch that found its groove later in the afternoon in a win over the Showtime Ballers.
Jordan Sears (Mainland/Team CP25)
Just two weeks ago, Jordan Sears transferred to Mainland. Previously a core starter for Atlantic, Sears, a 5’9″ point guard continues to make it count from deep. Sears plays with a purpose and is a scorer at heart. His height limits his ability to attack the rim consistently, but his speed helps set up his teammates for buckets inside.
Clarence Cummings (Evans/Showtime Ballers)
A two-sport athlete, Clarence Cummings has a clear confidence in his ability on the basketball court. The 6’4″ Evans forward made some flat out impressive plays. Cummings gets good arc on his shot and his flexibility shows up time and time again on both ends of the floor. Cummings is a high energy player.
Jadrian Tracey (Riverdale/E1T1)
A jack of all trades type player, 2020 Riverdale guard Jadrian Tracey has so much passion in his game. Essentially a 6’6″ point guard, Tracey can drive to the rack when needed, pass with ease and shoot anywhere on the floor. Tracey has scoring in his blood and with E1T1, he gets free reign to play how he likes. Tracey is only going to get better from here due to his dedication and hard work.
