Xmen AAU: Preview
Xmen is a new travel program in Michigan. They may be new, but are by no means taking things slow. As a matter of fact, the Xmen program is building quickly and aggressively. Coach Hassan Ayoub is diving into the program, bringing a gym and top notch training equipment.
The Xmen have an intriguing and talented 16u roster this spring and summer. Antwan Ficklen brings a pure athlete to the table. The young man is simply quicker and stronger than most of his opponents. Ficklen is the #27 ranked prospect by Prep Hoops Michigan in the class of 2020. Lorenzo Wright can team up with Ficklen to create a dangerously fast backcourt. He can effectively run an offense and is a player with tons of potential. Prep Hoops Michigan has Wright ranked #46 in the class of 2020. Jeffery Pullen will be a must see player over the summer. He has good size, good feet, and an expanding game. Coach Ayoub and Pullen have worked to make him a threat offensively from both the perimeter and the paint. Thaddeus Powell Jr. is a winner on the ultimate high school level. He was a part of the state champion DEPSA team. Powell Jr. is an athletic finisher.
