14U Route 66 Kickoff Standouts
The Route 66 Kickoff Championship Game in the 14U bracket featured two really good teams between Kansas Pray N Play 14U and Team Griffin 13U! Pray N Play ended up taking home the Championship! Check out the players that stood out!
Quincy Gholer Kansas Pray N Play Guard
He scored 17 in the Finals against Team Griffin, including two huge three-pointers to help lead them to the championship. What was so impressive about Gholer was his composure especially late in the game. Gholer has a good handle on the basketball, which helps him to drive to the hoop.
Grady Dick Kansas Pray N Play Guard
Dick is a big strong Guard with a beautiful shot. He is one of the best 2022 guards in the nation. Dick carried the Kansas Players down the stretch in crunch time to the Route 66 Kickoff Championship. He has a very quick release and also has a midrange game including a sweet floater. Dick will be a player to watch for years to come.
Jayden Nicholson Team Griffin Forward
He is one of the most physical players in the nation. Nicholson dominated the glass on both ends of the court. He finishes around the bucket extremely well for his age. Also, Nicholson moves and runs the court very well for such a big body. He has solid handles and is particularly good with his left hand. Being left-handed makes him even harder to guard.
Bryson Warren Team Griffin Wing
Warren does nearly everything well. He scores at all three levels. Finishes around the bucket with both hands extremely well for a guard. Warren does not get rattled and keeps the team composed in critical moments of the game. Late in the game, you can trust Warren with the ball in his hands. He has a good shot with a high release.
