Recruiting Report: Ben Bohl (2019)
Bishop Ryan guard Ben Bohl took Bishop Ryan to a second place finish in Class B this year with a massive 25-3 season. What schools are showing the most interest after this outstanding year?
“I have been talked to by a few colleges such as Minot State, University of Mary, and Mayville State,” Bohl told PHD.
Those schools and more recently watched Ben play with the North Dakota Attack this past weekend in the Comets Shootout. The Attack had some good moments and some moment they would like to have back but it was a really good start for the new squad overall going 4-1.
Bohl is used to winning. He was on the big stage at the state tournament in March and now his team is off to a great start. It’s been a great 2018 so far.
“Things went pretty good for our team,” said Bohl of his season at Bishop Ryan. “We had a 25-3 record and were runner up in the state class B tournament. We had a lot of players do a lot of good things.”
Bol put up 20 points, 7.5 rebounds, and three assists per game and was named Class B All State by PHD.
“My game has changed in some ways,” Ben said. “I think my defense has been a lot better and I’ve been shooting the ball at a higher percentage and attacking the basket more and feeling more comfortable.”
An all state group of honors, a second place finish at state, a 4-1 start with Attack, things are going really good for Ben Bohl right now.
