Spring Breakouts
Every spring a handful of players have a breakout during April and increase their recruitment level. Here is a look at some of the players that may be in that bracket and are ready for a rise in recruitment.
6’1, 2020 guard Creighton Lebo is a high Level basketball IQ player, makes the right play, good mid-range game, solid defender, can play either the one or two.
6’2, 2020 guard Perez Bowser of Arborbrook (NC)/Team United is a lightning bolt with the ball in his hands. Good size physically with a knack for getting into the lane.
6’5, 2019 wing Cortez Marion-Holmes, is a name to watch for. High Level athlete, long, can score in the paint or on the perimeter.
6’3, 2019 guard Caleb Mills of PSB Elite is an April must-see. High motor, scorer, three-point sniper, strong defender, long, handle, able to score off the dribble or get open without the ball.
6’7, 2020 wing Jaden Seymour is a prospect to see in April. Long wingspan, plays above the rim consistently, athletic, blocks/alters shots, rebounder, best basketball is ahead of him.
6’2, 2021 Terence Harcum is a natural scorer. Knows what it takes to score at a high-level as a freshman, has a very strong handle and will only get better.
Another player out of Liberty Heights (Charlotte) that is going to be one to track is 6’6 wing Kahari Rogers. Motor, long and strong, can shoot it consistently, rebounds
I feel like this summer is going to be big for 6’9, 2020 F Justus Shelton of Team Loaded NC 2020 Mid-range game is there, foot work is there, fundamentals are there, and you still can’t teach 6’9.
6’7, 2019 Gavin Rains is an April breakout player. Long, athletic, shoots it, has a good understanding of the game, knows where to be with or without the ball.
