Prospect Spotlight: Ramean Hinton (2020)
Curie 2020 shooting guard Rameon Hinton is already a top 20 prospect in the 2020 class, but he elevated his stock even more with his play this spring. The power wing from Curie has size and athleticism for days. Powerful getting in the lane and finishing at the cup. The area he has improved the most is his perimeter jump shot. He was really confident in his shot going down. Pull up jumper has become a strength of his. Rugged wing also gets on the glass. Hinton plays so hard. Mid-majors should start to have him on their radar.
He played a bench role for Curie this past season.
“It went great. We played hard and as a team. We did what we had to do. We played up a little short, but we played as a team.”
Where did he feel his game improved the most?
“My defense and rebounding. My sportsmanship and playing as a team player.”
He spoke about what he is looking forward to about running with Team Rose this spring and summer on the 16U level.
“To lead my team to as many victories as possible. Play defense and be the best player on the court and show the college coaches what I am about.”
At this stage there isn’t much going on with recruiting.
