The ones who did enough to move the needle on the level that they should be viewed upon. That could mean a high profile prospect becoming nationally renown or a prospect that went from looked over to college prospect at some level.
The list above shows guys like Dejon Jarreau and Lamar Peters who proved themselves to an extreme level this summer. Whether that meant getting healthy or improving consistency at point guard position, it still cemented them as national prospects.
Others like Ronnie Hamilton, Brenton Jarrow, and John Norvel used the summer to prove they should be on the radars of higher level colleges than before. For this group it was similar to above where health and the maturation of their game really came to light.
The other prospects mentioned each had moments throughout the summer that proved their worth. Some did it during the grassroots season while others proved themselves in summer league with their high school team.
For a couple like Dylan Hoyt and Taylan Grogan, it was them proving their game translates to any atmosphere. Camps and combines, where often times the dominant players are known beforehand, are a tough atmosphere for some players to excel in but both of these proved their worth much like Hamilton did.
