Recruiting Report: Terrell Adams (2018)
Many college programs are still looking to fill spots with the available recruits in the 2018 high school class. Look no further than south Minneapolis if you’re a junior college in need of a strong guard who can really finish at the rim.
Senior Terrell Adams led Washburn in scoring with 16.1 PPG. Much like his older brother, Cortez, Terrell is 6-1, strong, hard-nosed defensively and loves to harass ball-handlers. He also excels at pushing the ball down the floor and finishing at the rim, perhaps with a foul drawn as well.
Some midwest junior colleges have gotten in touch with Adams, and he took a visit recently.
“I went on a visit to UW-Washington County over spring break,” he told NHR. “I liked the fact that I have my spot on the team ready to go. I think it’s a good place to workout and get better — there’s no choice but to get better. The coaches were cool, I liked the campus, and the teammates seemed like they like it there.
Also, NDSCS emailed my mom and talked to me about a visit a little bit.”
Adams plans to decide in June, after graduation and after he has some time to think.
“My options are still open. The best college for me would be away from home and with a diverse student body. Good education and a place that I can call home, one where I feel like I belong. I want to join a team that’s like a family.”
