Recruiting Report: Jalen Justice (2019)
Jalen Justice of Robbinsdale Cooper is a guy that schools should have eyes on when the 17u season starts this weekend. NHR caught up with Jalen this week.
Jalen scored just under 18 points per game this winter for a Cooper team that was ranked in the top ten as a 19-7 team.
“Things for us started off slow but we began to pick it up towards the end of the season,” Jalen said. “We didn’t end the season like we wanted too but we made one of our goals which was conference champs. So the season was pretty good.”
It was surely a nice year for the Hawks, the type of year that should push Cooper to even bigger things in the future. And a season that should propel Justice into the future.
“I’ve got a lot better at being able to score the ball in all ways and my handle on the ball got better,” Jalen said. “Also, I’ve been shooting it better then past seasons. I think I’ve became a better leader on the court too.”
Next up for Justice is a season with the Howard Pulley Panthers.
“I’m playing with Howard Pulley this spring and we are looking good, we have a lot of great talent and I’m very excited to get started. It’s gonna be a fun spring and summer.”
College programs have began making contact with Justice as well.
“Northern Iowa, Denver, Sioux Falls, and a few others have been in contact,” Jalen said.
