Roster Breakdown: This is a solid roster made up of northern Indiana kids. They have a lot of height throughout the roster and should give a lot of teams fits with their length, especially at the guard spots. They have a ton of talent and will turn some heads this summer. This is a tough nosed roster and they are going to show it this summer.
Guy You Have To Watch: Jake Wadding (Chesterton)
Wadding is a guy who is really solid and fun to watch. He plays tougher than anyone in the state and bullies his way to the rim at times. He is a big guard who is able to rebound the ball and can shoot it a bit from the outside. He’s playing up a group this summer and will be able to showcase his skills with guys older than him.
Best Bet To End Up Breaking Out: Jevon Morris (Munster)
Morris improved his shot this school season and if he displays a working shot this summer he could rise up the ranks to be a guy that D2 colleges start to look at. He is able to drive to the basket really well and finish. Morris has really solid court vision and if the uptick in offense continues, he could be highly sought after in the Northern part of the state.
Who Should Be Watching: D2-NAIA
This is a team that all non-D1 schools should be watching. Wadding is a year away but D2s should still be watching him. Noah Applegate and Morris should also be on the radars of D2 schools. Everyone other player can be a scholarship player with a good summer since this is such a solid roster.
